The video game Ghost Recon: Advanced Warfighter depicts the soldier of the future and introduces a new piece of military technology known as the Cross-Com. The Cross-Com is a communications device integrated into a soldier’s monocle. It enables players to view images of enemy positions, target locations, and other information gathered by reconnaissance drones flying overhead. The single-player game takes place in Mexico City, which is consistently ranked as one of the largest cities in the world. The single-player levels focus on urban combat and are designed with it in mind.
A multiplayer component typically includes various game types, such as solo elimination, solo territory, and sole objective; co-op elimination; team elimination; team territory; co-op objective; and team elimination; co-op territory; and team goal. In addition to the standard game types, it enables creation of user-defined game modes, complete with limits on kits, respawn clocks, class modifiers, and much more.
