Two World II is a fantasy role-playing game that picks up where the first game left off.

Aziraal was an ancient deity of war who was worshiped by the Orcs and was supposed to have enormous power. The god’s abilities were given to our hero’s sister when Aziraal’s tomb was opened at the end of the first game. The terrible lord Gandohar, determined to seize Aziraal’s strength, has kidnapped our hero and his sister and is draining her powers. The hero’s escape from the prison serves as a tutorial for the game until he ultimately ventures into Antaloor.

There is a vast globe to explore, with deserts, forests, swamps, seashores, cities, agricultural areas, and several underground caves and dungeons. There will be encounters with every type of monster imaginable, from lethal insects to massive animals and humanoids of many races. Because the adversaries’ levels are not linked to the player’s level, some encounters must be avoided until the hero advances and improves his powers. The game claims to include enough tasks to keep players occupied for roughly 100 hours.

The hero in the single-player game can only be male. His specialization (warrior, ranger, or wizard) can be changed anytime by swapping out equipment. Success depends solely on how gained skill points are allotted.

Two Worlds II improves on the first game with a new user interface, game engine, and magic and crafting systems. It incorporates all of the gameplay aspects from Two Worlds I (horseback riding, crafting, forging, and alchemy). Sailing (which was planned for the original game but never delivered) is possible in this game, albeit only in a few places.

Each type of battle can be enhanced by learning feats and skills. Learned spells can be combined to improve or vary their effects by using the new card modifiers. Improvements to the crafting/forging features allow different ways to upgrade weapons and armor. Objects in inventory, for example, can be reduced to their essential elements (cloth, wood, iron).

Two Worlds II includes five multiplayer modes for up to eight players, including Crystal Capture, PvP, Dual, Adventure (7 chapters), and a Village scenario. In multiplayer, new characters are generated with various races and gender options.
