Professor Pester and his Ruffians have infiltrated Piata Central, and in an attempt to steal all the Piata records, they’ve ended up wiping them all! It’s up to you to aid in the restoration of the documents and keep the candy-filled pinatas flowing!
The sequel to Rare’s gardening simulator, Viva Piata: Trouble in Paradise. The overall objective remains: entice piata by tending to your garden. Some animals are drawn to the appearance of others, while others are drawn to the types of plants you grow. As you continue, your garden will become more precious, which means Professor Pester and his Ruffians will show up to try to vandalize it, either by instigating conflicts with the piata or breaking your most valuable object.
Trouble in Paradise features all the pinata from the original game and some new species found only in the Dessert Desert or the Piarctic. These piata are wild and must be caught after being attracted to the bait. Unfortunately, the new Sour Piata is eager to arrive and causes problems.
Piata Vision, a new game feature, scans in cards using the Xbox Live Vision Camera. These cards can introduce various products into the game, such as new pietas, garden objects, tools, and even shop discounts! Players can even take a photo of a garden object and turn it into a Piata Vision card to send to a friend. There are also two mini-games: a Piata racing game and a Piata contest game. Winning these mini-games improves the value of your piata.
