Wolf of the Battlefield: Commando 3 is a sequel to Capcom’s 1985 game Commando (aka “Wolf of the Battlefield”) and 1990 game Mercs (aka “Wolf of the Battlefield II”). Backbone Entertainment created the third installment in the series as a downloadable game for Xbox 360 and PS3, continuing the tradition and gameplay featured in the previous two.
In single-player mode, you can play as one of three characters, codenamed Wolf, Coyote, and Fox. Local and internet co-op multiplayer for three players is also available. Weapon upgrades and power-ups can be obtained as you progress through the five stages. Machine guns, grenades, scatter guns, missile launchers, flamethrowers, and the M-Crash, which initiates a gigantic area-effect explosion that kills or destroys anything in sight, are among the weapons.
