WWE SmackDown vs. Raw 2011 is a professional wrestling video game based on WWE’s Raw and SmackDown brands.

One of the most significant modifications in the game is adding a new physics system that allows objects like those used in the Tables, Ladders, and Chairs match to be used more realistically. Tables now break in multiple ways depending on the force applied to them. Ladders can now be broken in half inside and outside the ring by resting them on the ring ropes. Chairs can be thrown at your opponents for the first time since the first WWE SmackDown! vs. Raw game.

The Hell in a Jail match has been updated with more enormous jail walls, weaponry beneath the ring, steel steps near the poles, and removing the cell door. Furthermore, the game introduces new means to escape the steel prison.

The new “WWE Universe” feature replaces the previous games’ career mode. Based on the wrestled matches, the method creates narratives and adds cut scenes and rivalries between wrestlers. These cut sequences appear randomly before, during, and after the game.

Backstage wandering, mini-quests, and interaction with other Superstars have been added to the Road to WrestleMania mode. Rey Mysterio, John Cena, Christian, and Chris Jericho have playable storylines. Along with it comes a new plot in which players can choose among Kofi Kingston, John Morrison, Dolph Ziggler, R-Truth, or a created superstar to end The Undertaker’s unbeaten WrestleMania streak.
