Players are entrusted with dividing various animal species, known as “critters,” into their pens by constructing a fence between them. Each animal species has unique skills or quarks, such as lions who roar and stun the player or rabbits who can enter underground burrows and reappear in another game area. Critter Round-Up is inspired by the arcade classic QIX. There are several game modes and mini-games to choose from* Adventure – 1 or 2 players trek through 50 levels of 5 diverse environments.
Co-Op Challenge – identical to Adventure mode, but with specifically built levels that accommodate up to four players across 20 levels.
Marathon – 1 to 4 players, randomly generated level size and critter types.
Two to four people can play four competitive mini-games:* Snowball Soccer – Use giraffes to assist you in getting the snowball into the goal.
Predator Rampage – try to dodge the fleeing critters as much as possible. Animals are constantly being introduced to the level, increasing their speeds over time. The winner is the last player standing.
Fence Attack: Inspired by Tron’s light cycles, try to trick the other players into running into the fences everyone is erecting.
Chicken Catch – There are dozens of different colored chickens loose, each worth a different number of points. The player with the highest score is the winner.
