A young witch enters an exciting broom race and chooses special equipment for the competition. She can select one magical broom from eight options, which offer unique flying abilities and movement patterns. The player also picks a character from eight magical racers. Each brings different skills to the race. Twelve distinct racing tracks await players. Various power-ups appear during the flight to help or hinder progress. The racing experience becomes more thrilling because players can compete against friends in multiplayer mode. However, this feature only works on the Nintendo Wii version. Meanwhile, the Nintendo 3DS edition replaces multiplayer with time trials. So players can race against the clock and challenge their own records. Though these versions have slight differences, both games share the same core gameplay and enjoyable racing mechanics.
