HarmoKnight will take its players through the story of a boy living on the planet Melodia. Players will be able to accompany their character as he becomes the hero of a musical journey. Aliens attack his world and take the princess away. So, he sets out on an adventure to save her. He teams up with friends who can shoot arrows or play drums. The game is designed so that they all have different abilities. The game moves horizontally automatically while music plays in the background. Players have to jump, attack, and collect notes as they progress. Each successful action adds a new sound to the song. But mistakes will cause them to lose hearts. The complete song only plays when the performance is good, and losing all hearts means failure. The journey spans eight unique worlds with fifty-four levels.
