The role-playing game Pokémon Dark Energy is a rom hack built on top of Pokemon Silver. The game was developed by Game Freak.

The gameplay focuses on the progression of the tale rather than the traditional elements of a Pokemon journey, such as going from town to town collecting badges and finally facing off against the Elite Four.
