1080° Avalanche

Ride the slopes of the 1080° Avalanche like a seasoned pro. You can play as one of five different snowboarders as you race through 15 other tracks with three additional difficulty settings and rack up points by performing tricks. You could also try the optional game modes, such as the Gate Challenge, Trick Attack, or the time trial.

1080° Avalanche is a snowboarding video game that differs from others in that it challenges the player to compete against an actual avalanche. Players must avoid falling trees, snow, and ice boulders as they descend the mountain. You’ll feel the screen shaking, but if you focus on the objective, you’ll make it through to the end.

You can race on a split screen with up to four people, or you can use the local area network functionality of the GameCube to play with four people using four GameCubes and televisions.
