Beach Spikers is a one-to-four-player action beach volleyball game. There are several modes of gameplay available, including arcade (a conversion of the arcade game), world tour (the player forms a team, develops a relationship with their partner to improve her ability, and aims to be the world champs), vs. mode (play against other players or the CPU), and a tutorial mode. There are also several minigames, such as beach countdown, in which teams play volleyball with a bomb and hope it doesn’t explode on their side of the net, and beach flags, in which the player must capture a flag before their opponent.
Beach Spikers includes several predefined teams, but players can also create their teams from various female athletes. Each character’s appearance can also be customized, from hair and skin color to uniform.
