Eternal Darkness: Sanity’s Requiem is a psychological thriller epic that follows twelve characters’ exploits over two millennia. The forces of evil from beyond have been attempting to manifest themselves in our world since time immemorial, and it is only through the actions of these forgotten heroes that the world has been saved from being overrun. Ancient Rome, Persia, the Middle East, and modern-day Rhode Island are all featured in chapters. The protagonists will have access to various weapons appropriate for their era throughout the game, ranging from a bastard sword and gladius to a flintlock pistol and shotgun.

Sanity is a unique feature in Eternal Darkness: Sanity’s Requiem. When an enemy notices a character, their Sanity meter decreases.
