EA Sports developed the motocross racing simulation known as Freekstylets. The primary goals of this game are to move quickly and perform impressive stunts. There are essentially two different games to play here: the first is a straightforward racing game in which you compete in a three-lap race around a track and try to finish in the first place. The second portion of the game is a freestyle competition, during which players attempt to rack up the highest point total possible by performing tricks to earn points.
The “Freestyle” mode of the racing game combines the elements of racing and tricks. You will race around a track set up like a circuit, and as you go, you will try to perform tricks on the large jumps you come across. Your boost meter will fill up as you perform tricks, and once it is complete, you will receive a speed boost that you can use however you like. If you pull off a sufficient number of tricks, you will eventually be able to unlock the “freakout” mode, which enables you to move at an absurdly high rate of speed.
