In this most recent installment of the Harvest Moon franchise, you will once again take on the challenging role of a farmer. During the day, you will be responsible for tending to animals, planting and watering crops, and getting to know the other villagers. This entry in the series is structured differently from the previous games in that it is broken up into chapters corresponding to the changing seasons.
One of the goals is to get married to one of the women in the village (or one of the men in the upcoming edition for girls), and another is to have children who will assist you with your work as you get older. The gameplay and the general objectives are very similar to Animal Crossing, which can be played on GameCube.
