Joe is your typical everyday guy who enjoys hanging out with his girlfriend, Silvia, and watching movies. However, Joe’s life is turned upside down when Silvia is sucked into a movie reel by an evil force. It is up to you to take Joe Everyman and transform him into a superhero so that he can rescue his girlfriend and put an end to all superheroes.
Viewtiful Joe is a 2D side-scrolling action game in a 3D world. The game features a heavy dose of comic book visuals, and it will require you to use the incredible abilities of the hero in question as you use VFX special moves such as Slow and Mach Speed to slice and dice the many enemies that appear on the screen. You will be able to acquire “Viewtifuls,” which will enhance your capabilities by adding new killer moves and unique items to your inventory. You’ll need them as you go through all seven episodes and the major bosses that await you after each one.
