The new sequel to “King Boo’s Revenge 2” and the King Boo’s Revenge series is King Boo’s Revenge X, a ROM hack created by thebloody7. In contrast to the first two installments, this hack offers 160 stars, a fresh look, and twisted challenges that can all be completed on a more difficult difficulty. This time, a brand-new bonus called Quicksand Cap is added, enabling the player to walk on quicksand briefly.
It also has 100 coin star boxes hidden (under star 7) to shorten the game’s duration and fewer red coin stars as a reward for reaching the pipe at the end of important boss levels.
