SomeRussianMarioDude created an unfinished ROM hack called SM64 Twisted Adventures: Intense Challenge. Super Mario 64: Twisted Adventures was supposed to be a much, much harder version of it, but the project was shelved after a demo was made available in 2014. Tomatobird8 would ultimately choose to finish this hack.
After some time, Tomatobird8 completed the project in 2019 under the name Twisted Adventures: Intense Challenge – The Revival, which boasts 151 stars, 15 finished courses, and 6 hidden levels.
