Developed by BroDute, the ROM known as Star Revenge 5.5: Destroyed Memories was made available for download at the beginning of 2018.
This hack serves as an extension to Star Revenge 5: Neo Blue Realm. It takes place after the bad ending of the original game, transforming levels into a more “dystopian” version of themselves, and hiding stars in more unconventional locations.
This hacked item has a grand total of seventy stars. In addition, there are no 100 coin stars in this hack; instead, the seventh star in each course has been replaced by an invisible box, with the exception of Course 4. These boxes can be located with hints that are dispersed throughout the game. Additionally, you cannot save your game between stars; you can only do so when you have collected the red coin star that is hidden behind the 65 star door, defeated the Reverse Tower Bosses, and spoken to Toad outside of Reverse Castle Blaudia.
