The Art of Balance is a puzzle game that involves stacking. The participant is given a collection of forms, which they must carefully position on a precarious platform above a water bowl. A level is completed successfully when all of the documents remain balanced for three full seconds, and it is failed when any of the objects fall into the water. There are a total of one hundred challenges for the player to overcome.
Two types of multiplayer modes are available in this game: a cooperative mode in which a second player can join the fun at any moment, and a split-screen versus how two players must stack their shapes before their opponent can do so.
