In Bomberman Blast, the player has the option of playing either the classic battle mode that is featured in Bomberman games, which supports up to eight players at once and offers the ability to play the game online, or a story mode, in which the player’s Miis have been abducted. It is up to him to find them. This causes the player to embark on a trip across five distinct worlds, each with its unique boss and a large variety of adversaries. In addition, the game features a “Bomberman for Beginners” mode that provides novices to the series with basic tutorials that explain the standard Bomberman gameplay concepts.
Various new things are relevant to the Bomberman series, and some are activated using the Wii Remote’s shaking capability. This brings a new facet to the franchise. During gameplay, players can also use their Miis and purchase upgrades and power-ups for their characters.
There is also a digital version available on WiiWare, but it does not include either the story mode or the beginning mode, and it does not give the player the option to purchase any more goods.
