Participate in an aquatic adventure in quest of the enigmatic Song of Dragons, which is thought to be cursed…but also leads to a fantastic buried treasure! R&R Diving Service will take you to exotic locations such as Pacific reefs, a South American river, sunken, shark-infested shipwrecks, the frigid Antarctic, and even the inky black depths way below the Red Sea.

Endless Ocean: Blue World is the sequel to Endless Ocean, although no prior knowledge is required to play. You play as a diver searching for the Song of Dragons, hired by R&R Diving Service, whose headquarters are on the little Nineball Island. To swim, simply point the Wii Remote towards the screen and hold down the B Trigger. You can change direction by directing the cursor near the screen’s top, bottom, left, or right. The A Button is used to interact with fish and coral reefs and to pick up objects, among other things. You can also employ fish food, a whistle, a multi-sensor (for recovering stuff), and a camera.

The game has a main story to follow. Still, players can choose to take it at their own pace or try some of the side-missions, such as dolphin training, filling an aquarium with fish to display, managing your private reef, mapping out areas you’ve visited, and selling the maps for profit, salvaging treasure, pursuing special requests and treasure rumors, taking on photo requests for magazines, and even taking guided tours around locations you’ve already visited. Completing key game milestones grants you “titles,” which serve as an achievement system. You can use any title you’ve unlocked as identification and mix and match them.

Endless Ocean: Blue World enables two players to play simultaneously. Two divers can explore the ocean together while communicating via text texts. If participants have Wii Speak, they can share while diving. Main plot tasks cannot be accomplished during internet dives, and new creatures discovered will not be noted in your encyclopedia.
