The “Ivy the Kiwi?” events occur in a peaceful forest. Ivy is born from an egg that falls from the sky one day and is hatched from that egg. Ivy quickly realizes that her mother is not present when she is born, which prompts her to hunt for her mother.
The gameplay is quite similar to Kirby: Canvas Curse in that you do not have direct control of Ivy, and as soon as the level begins, she will walk forward on her own. You will need to set up vines for her to climb up and down on to guide her to the next level’s completion. Ivy can also use vines to assist her in slingshotting through particular walls that can be broken.
