Magnetic is a puzzle game in which the player must match magnets. A machine puts out three types of blocks: left magnets, conductor blocks, and suitable magnets. The player aims to remove blocks by connecting left and right attractions. Blocks fall from the machine and land on a conveyor belt, which the player can shift to the left and right. As a result, the player creates matches between the blocks on the conveyor belt and those that fall. Magnets come in various colors and are only compatible with other interests of the same color. When two different colored interests are united, they form terrible blocks. Only by destroying neighboring blocks can these be removed. Combos can be created by eliminating many lines in succession, and the player’s points are multiplied. When the unions reach the top of the screen, the game is ended.
In single-player, there are three main game modes. Normal mode is about living as long as possible, time attack mode is about getting the most incredible score in 165 seconds, and block assault mode is about making the most of the 100 blocks available. The game supports up to four players on the same PC in multiplayer mode. There is a battle mode, a competitive game in which each player has their playfield and a suitable option in which two players assist each other on the same playfield.
