WiiWare is the platform on which the action role-playing game Pokémon Rumble was released. The turn-based gameplay that was present in the primary games has been removed. Instead, you will take control of a playable Pokémon and engage in real-time combat against many other Pokémon. The models for the toy Pokémon are from the My Pokémon Ranch website.
Suppose you begin using a Pokémon with a lower level and only one attack. In that case, you will earn experience (coins) that can be put toward purchasing Pokémon with higher levels and more attacks. The process of defeating wild Pokémon yields the coins. You will eventually go up against a powerful boss Pokémon after you reach the final stage of each area and have accumulated stronger Pokémon throughout time. The last part of each rank consists of a Battle Royale against many Pokémon, and the only way to advance to this part of the game is to defeat these Pokémon.
In a Battle Royale, you and up to three other friends can compete against one another or play cooperatively. You can even save some of your toy Pokémon to your Wiimote and transfer them to a friend’s Wii if you bring your Wiimote.
