Spectrobes: Origins is a futuristic-themed 3D-action role-playing game. Following their defeat, the dark Krawl have regrouped under the leadership of the terrible Krux and are threatening the whole Nanairo galaxy, destroying planets and civilizations. Commander Grant orders the defense of Nanairos’ portal system, fearing that the Krawl may use it.
In the game, the player controls Rallen, Jeena, and their Spectrobes (light beings that can oppose the Krawl), who are sent off to defend some backwater portal. Real-time battles with battle Spectrobes, conversing with NPCs, harvesting minerals, and excavating fossils to earn extra Spectrobes are all part of the gameplay. Seven distinct planets can be visited, and the game can be played solo or cooperatively.
