Xbox version of The House of the Dead III
Both titles were adapted for use on the Wii console and feature compatibility for the Wii Zapper accessory. A new option called Extreme can be unlocked in The House of the Dead III. In this level, enemies will attack the player more quickly, and the player’s weaponry will have smaller bullet blast radii (akin to the handgun in the second game). At the same time, the shotgun’s reloading speed has been significantly increased, and a new close-range strike called the Guard strike has been added. It is a powerful technique that stops incoming assaults as well, but there is a “reload” time required before it can be used again.
