The Mummy: Tomb of the Dragon Emperor is an action-adventure video game that was published in tandem with the film of the same name. The game is presented in a three-dimensional format.
The plot of the movie is carried over into the game. You can choose to take on the role of either Rick O’Connell or his son, Alex O’Connell, and it is your mission to foil the schemes of the Dragon Emperor and the Terracotta army.
The gameplay consists of climbing on platforms, solving puzzles, and engaging in hand-to-hand combat and gun battles. As you play the game, you will travel to several settings from the film, such as the Himalayas and the Great Wall of China. Humans, creatures, Terracotta soldiers, and bosses are all types of enemies you will face.
A unique, entirely 2D game was adapted for play on mobile phones. A new fully 3D game was developed specifically for the Nintendo DS.
