A fighting game includes characters from many Capcom and SNK games. The game strategy revolves around “grooves,” chosen before any combat. These grooves change the character’s skills to mimic different Capcom or SNK games. Each firm has three tracks and the possibility of defining a custom groove.
The “EO” in the names for the GameCube and Xbox refers to a new groove: Easy Operation. Instead of the standard inputs required to perform unique and super moves, these movements are served automatically by tapping the right thumb stick in particular directions. However, only a tiny portion of each character’s move set can be accessed this way. If the player does not select EO, the game will play similarly to the arcade and previous releases.
