The animated picture Ratatouille, produced by Pixar, inspired the novel Ratatouille. The version created by Asobo Studio is a 3D platform game like the previous versions, but it features a unique layout, set of levels, and objectives.

The movie’s storyline is only somewhat replicated in the video game. However, all of the principal actors and actresses from the film return to their roles as voice actors. Remy is a rat with a refined taste, and the player takes control of him. When Remy finds himself in Paris, close to the restaurant where the great chef Gusteau used to work before he passed away, he begins working toward becoming a chef, all the while assisting his fellow rats in their efforts to acquire food.

Although many of the settings in the game are identical to those in the version for the next-generation consoles, this version lacks almost none of the open-world features seen in the other title. Instead, the levels are much smaller, and the progression is linear. Remy can hop, double-jump, swing over poles, balance on ropes, crawl on specific walls, and defend himself with tail swipes or using spoons. The different levels in the game include the sewers, streets, and roofs of Paris, as well as a restaurant kitchen and a food market. In addition, he can use his acute sense of smell, which reveals the way to the next goal or objective. Remy often needs to elude security by hiding in plain sight until the guards’ attention is diverted elsewhere. Other parts of the levels have Remy slithering down pipes, rafting through water currents, and escaping from humans pursuing him. There are also many minigames; most are related to cooking and need Remy to select ingredients or peel potatoes.

Specific bonus quests may be completed for extra points that take the style of dream sequences. In these missions, Remy must navigate environments constructed entirely out of different kinds of food. All levels offer several collectibles. In most stories, you will have the opportunity to gather up to one hundred stars. Batteries, darts, and lightbulbs may appear as special items at various game stages. You are rewarded with bonus points when you have collected every instance of a particular object in a given location. These points can be used at Gusteau’s shop to unlock additional game content, such as other kinds of artwork, and play the minigames outside the main game in single-player or multiplayer modes.
