The year 2050 serves as the backdrop for the action game known as Dropship. Since the number of terrorist attacks has dramatically increased, the world’s major nations have concluded Nations, and, should replace NATOthe UPF, the United Peace Force, should replace NATO. It is a global anti-terror army that functions in every region.
But another organization operates on a global scale, and that is a drug trafficking organization that is highly militarized. The United Patriots Front (UPF) opened an inquiry after learning that a cartel was responsible for an attack on a peace caravan in Columbia. The drug cartel is thought to maintain a significant presence in Libya, including a central base and a training camp. The UPF establishes a base in this nation and immediately searches for those responsible for the crimes.
The player recently enlisted as a pilot and soldier in the United Planetary Force (UPF). During the campaign, which consists of twenty rather lengthy missions, he will spend most of his time piloting a dropship of either the attack, defender, or transport class. He can also travel and fight on foot, in tanks, and in various other ground vehicles. Dropships can hover or fly, and they can transport a significant amount of cargo in addition to weapons.
In Dropship, the player participates in an extensive, worldwide conflict simulation and is directly involved in the action. Six training missions are included, making it much simpler to become familiar with the game’s controls.
