The game of motocross stunt riding that goes by the moniker Freestyle MetalX is precisely what it sounds like. There are nine professional riders, twelve licensed motorcycles, and some secret ones. It is organized similarly to the Tony Hawk series, with a career mode consisting of stages. Each level has its own set of objectives, which may include performing certain feats, discovering gaps, and locating stuff. These objectives may be accomplished by, for example, crashing through windows or running people over. In this scenario, there are other goals about the race. You earn money to achieve goals, which can be spent on unlocking more riders, bikes, and levels.
The controls include a gas pedal, brake pedal, and clutch button, as well as buttons labeled “jump,” “trick,” and “trick modifier.” For example, the modifier can make a Superman become a nothing Superman. This is an extreme example, but you get the idea. The right analog stick is used to direct wheelies during gameplay.
