It is technically the fourth game in the Grand Battle series, based on the Japanese anime of the same name. “One Piece: Grand Battle” comes from the anime title. This installment has cel-shaded graphics, 14 characters (with only 5 being playable and the remaining 9 being unlockable), and 5 gameplay modes, in addition to 2 additional ways in which you can view artwork of the characters that you have unlocked.

Most of the game’s playable characters are available to choose from right from the get-go in the Grand Battle mode, which pits you against either other real-life players or the computer. Story Mode is where you will spend the majority of your time because this is where most of your characters and other staff, such as pictures from the anime, will become available. As its name suggests, Mini Games is a gameplay mode consisting of miniature games. The Usopp Pirates have prepared a set of three different minigames for you to compete in. You start with choosing three players for your side, and if you end up victorious in a match, you get to select a player from the other squad who came in second place. The converse is also possible, particularly if you lose a game. Grand Tourney is a multiplayer arena battle competition that allows up to 16 human or computer-controlled players to compete against one another. I don’t think much explanation is necessary for the Training mode. And in addition to that, there are two additional modes: Treasure and Piece Art. Simply said, this is where you may locate all of the staff you have unlocked, such as character endings, costume art, and another team of the exact nature.

Almost every character uses an identical combination of button presses to perform attacks. Aside from that, each one has a supporting character that he can call to aid him in the battle and two distinct episodes that are only usable in particular circumstances. Another move is unique to each character, and it involves a lengthy animated sequence. Using this attack while you are low on energy will allow you to defeat the foe with a single strike.
