Outlaw Golf, the first game in the Outlaw series of sports video games, is what you get when you combine the traditional game of golf with a cast of characters that includes aspiring rappers, lesbian strippers, former inmates, and other eccentric characters. The video game has an offensive demeanor, replete with sexual themes and words that would make Happy Gilmore blush.
In Outlaw Golf, you compete as one of ten over-the-top golfing personalities (paired with equally over-the-top caddies) in over 30 different tour events. From these events, you try to unlock new characters, better clubs and balls, and improve your golfer’s skills with 12 mini-games. Outlaw Golf is available for Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One. The game also features a composure response system, which means that when you are performing well, the game will be more accessible for you, and when you aren’t doing so well, you will find that your shots are not going precisely where you want them to go. Have you lost your composure? You can alleviate some of that stress by beating your caddy, which will allow you to restore some of your equilibrium. Up to four people can participate in the eight distinct game modes supported by the multiplayer mode. These game modes include stroke play, match play, skins, best ball, and casino.
