The video game Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time has a direct sequel called Prince of Persia: Warrior Within. After another seven years have passed, a monster known as Dahaka begins to pursue the Prince. He discovers that anyone manipulating the Sands of Time is doomed to die shortly after that, yet, the Prince has evaded his fate, which is the source of Dahaka’s fury. The Prince must embark on a perilous journey to the uncharted territory known as the Island of Time. There, he will search for the fabled Empress of Time and attempt to manipulate time in such a way as to stop her from inventing the Sands in the first place.
The Prince and his surroundings have become more sinister in this iteration of the game. As a result of the Prince’s newly acquired fighting abilities, including new attack maneuvers that use walls and poles, the battles are now more challenging and play a more significant role in the game’s overall experience.
Even though the battles make up a significant portion of the game, there are still puzzle sections that are significantly more challenging than before. The curtain slide is a new move that may be used in the puzzle areas of the game, and it allows you to descend to the ground in a more measured fashion. You may still manipulate time in various ways, and the plot allows you to go back and forth across time, going to the same sites but during a different era each time.
