Ni No Kuni: Wrath of the White Witch

After saving him from drowning, the mother of Oliver dies. He cries over her doll, which becomes a fairy lord named Drippy. Drippy reveals a parallel world with connected souls. Oliver follows Drippy to find his mother’s double, Alicia. Ni no Kuni is a role-playing game in which Drippy hopes Oliver can save his world. Players control Oliver and his Familiars, who are summonable creatures. Enemies roam the world, and battles start upon contact. Combat is real-time through timed attack commands. Oliver can switch with Familiars in the limited battle time. At the same time, he helps people balance personality traits. He takes surplus traits from some and gives them to others who lack them. He also runs errands for merit stamps, which he exchanges for rewards. The story is similar to the previous one but diverges midway.
