Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3 is an upgraded version of Marvel vs. Capcom 3: Fate of Two Worlds by remaining similar. However, it also introduces a new system called X-Factor to temporarily boost characters’ abilities and create more winning rates. The game adds 12 new characters. The original game features Marvel and Capcom characters from which players can choose. They can be well-known heroes and villains. The game offers online and offline modes. Offline mode includes Arcade, Versus, and Missions. Online mode allows players to challenge friends or strangers to express all of their skills. Each character has a unique storyline in Arcade mode. Players form a team of three to battle through six fights. The final boss is Galactus. Defeating Galactus unlocks character-specific endings that reveal motivations and unlock extras.
