In Archer Maclean’s Mercury, you must tilt the game globe to lead a blob of mercury, or numerous chunks, through various mazes. It would be best if you ran over color markers along the way, which will change the color of your lump to the paint required to win the level. In several portions of the game, you must divide your mercury into two chunks, roll each piece over two different colored switches, and then merge the two hunks to form a third, distinct color.
Each level contains various elements, some of which will assist you, and others will hamper you. Conveyor belts, moving platforms, launch pads, and rough corners can force your blob to divide into two or even three.
There are 83 different mazes, each one getting progressively more difficult.
