The video game Cube combines aspects of puzzle solving and action gameplay. The game takes place in a cube-shaped area with various stages and difficulties. The game gives the player control of a cube as it travels over tracks that resemble 3D platforms and mazes. There are a total of 135 levels based on nine distinct concepts. Each motif, referred to as zones in the game, is associated with its assortment of devices and a particular shade. There are many hazards, such as bombs, monsters, sinking surfaces, rotating blocks, and blocks that blow the Cube backward. Sometimes, they also need to be managed to build new pathways (for example, moving bricks and then luring a bomb to it so it may blow it up).
The Cube has “sticky” properties so that it can roll to the sides of the bottom of a track. This allows it to approach a region from a different route and acquire other things. Only certain tiles are off-limits to movement in this game. Before moving, the player can swivel the camera around the Cube to better understand the surrounding area. Some of the levels have a time constraint on them. The game comes with a level editor, and players can save their custom levels and trade them. The battle, Co-Op, Collect, and Race are the available multiplayer game modes that may be played over Wi-Fi. As players advance through the game, they will unlock new musical tracks.
