Parodius Portable is a series of side-scrolling games developed by Konami and has now released six different versions. All of the games in this section use the Gradius power-up system, which has a power boost bar on the left side of the screen divided into seven parts, each of which is a different type of power. Enemies often drop items that increase their power during combat, so when you touch them, the box on the left of the screen will light up, if it is any type of power then click on it. Besides, in the gameplay of Parodius, when you kill certain enemies, a series of bells with different colours from Twinbee will appear, each colour of the bell gives you a temporary power or some different weapons. You can shoot at the bell for them to change colour if you want another power in order to kill the enemy faster. Parodius Portable, although it is a game that came to us in the 80s and 90s, it will probably still be warmly welcomed by the colourful enemies and contexts. The enemy’s bullets are very easy to distinguish from everything else. In the game, there is really nothing to complain about graphics. The sound is more amazing, almost every song in every game is a remix of a famous classical piece, like “Stars and Stripes Forever”, “Twinkle Twinkle Little Star”, the “Can-can”, and more.
