Army Men: World War is the 8th installment in the famous Army Men series for tactical fighting gameplay. The game is also the first of a series of games titled World War that 3DO released and developed. The setting in the game is inspired by World War 2. The game revolves around a battle between the two sides, Green and Tan, after a failed negotiation. Both fierce attacks and the victory belongs to Green. The player controls a group of soldiers on the Greenside, making attacks on Tan base. The game has a total of 16 challenging missions for the player. Each mission can take place in many areas. However, the total number of existing areas is only five, so it will make sense of repetition. In each mission will give specific goals for the player. A map is provided detailing your position and the enemy troops for players to control and devise a reasonable strategy. Weapons are essential equipment for soldiers. Weapon systems are quite diverse when players can use grenades, explosives, guns, and melee weapons. Vehicles such as tanks and helicopters can also be used in specific situations.
