Mega Man X5, also known as Rockman X5 is an action role-playing game developed by Capcom for PlayStation in 2000 in Japan. In the 22nd century, humans living with Reploids were humanoid robot machines. The everyday peaceful life is gradually threatened by these robots. The gameplay of Mega Man 5 has not changed much compared to previous versions. You are still free to choose any 1 boss to fight and collect his characteristic weapons. To use the weapons characteristic of tycoons, you need to accumulate enough energy required. In addition to collecting energy for weapons, you can also pick up energy stones dropped from enemies to restore vitality. Besides, the game also equipped with 2 new support items for players to use, these two items are called Energy Tanks and Mystery Tank. Picking up the 2 items above will help you recover energy and recharge special weapons. In addition to fighting enemies, characters can be chased by a virtual virus and they will try to infect the character.
