WWF War Zone is a wrestling sports simulation game released for the PlayStation in 1998 by Acclaim Entertainment. Players will control one of the eighteen wrestlers available in the game, and you will compete against opponents who are the best wrestlers in the world. All eighteen wrestlers are inspired by real wrestlers in the world according to the World Wrestling Federation abbreviation WWW. Wrestlers include The Undertaker, Goldust, Ahmed Johnson, Stone Cold Steve Austin, Kane, Ken Shamrock … and WrestleMania.
Each character will have their own movements to attack the opponent, the attack is performed when you control the character to approach the opponent and use the attack moves to knock the opponent. The combination of joystick combinations will create different attacks. You can perform a variety of combos to keep and attack your opponent continuously. In addition, there are advanced attack moves such as attacking the ground or rushing to attack the enemy. The game has many different modes for players to freely choose. In WWF Challenge mode, players will choose one of eighteen wrestlers and challenge to win the WWF championship belt by defeating all other wrestlers. After winning the championship, players will have to accept the challenge of the opponent to protect their championship.
At each match, the player will have to combine attacks or move and hold the opponent to wear out the opponent’s health. Players can also win by pinning opponents to the floor. You will win when you pin your opponent to the floor after 3 seconds. You will win more strenuously exhausting your opponent and the game will be longer than some special methods. Players can also win when making opponents leave the ring. If a character is unable to return to the ring after 10 seconds from leaving the ring, that person will be defeated. In addition, the game has a feature that replays the action when you weaken the opponent. The game will play a slow video showing your attack causing the player to be defeated or lost a great amount of health. In Wrestler mode, players can create their own wrestlers. In this mode, the player has the option to further improve their control technique through the game’s instructions.
