– Patch v1.2 (ingame it will say that it’s 1.1.3)
– The game is rendered into the Direct3D 9 API instead of the original Direct3D 8 and is framecapped to 60FPS
– Widescreen support for 16:9 monitors upon installation
WARNING: If your monitor is not 16:9 and you would like to patch it to your current resolution, then install this repack using the default 4:3 option and use the provided “Unofficial Patch” in gamedir
P.S. When doing the “code.pak” thing from the tutorial in the UP, don’t forget to do the same step for codenet.pak as this is for the multiplayer component

Potential resolved issues:
– Environmental sound (rain etc.) disappears – Quicksave and reload
– Can no longer shoot or jump – Drop the current weapon (assign a key to it in the options menu) and then pick it back up, it should fix the problem
– Problems with several GPUs (MSHybrid / Nvidia Optimus) – On a system that runs both an integrated Intel GPU and a dedicated GPU (with a system like MSHybrid / Nvidia Optimus), the game might steadfastly refuse to recognize the dedicated GPU, even when set in the GPU control center. The integrated GPU has to be deactivated (set to “Discrete” on MSHybrid) for the game to use the dedicated GPU
