– The game is rendered into the Direct3D 9 API instead of the original Direct3D 8 and is framecapped to 60FPS
– Widescreen support for 16:9 monitors upon installation
WARNING: If your monitor is not 16:9 and you would like to patch it to your current resolution, then install this repack using the default 4:3 option and use the provided “Unofficial Patch” in gamedir
WARNING #2: Installing this repack with a patched resolution will break the LAN multiplayer as the “Start Game” menu button simply cannot be clicked for some reason. There is a backed up code.pak inside gamedir for when you wish to play LAN, simply rename code.pak to something else or move it to a different folder and then rename code.pak.bak to code.pak
Doing this will also disable the custom screen resolutions
