Do NOT change video options within the game launcher! Instead use the resolution changer tool to change the screen to your desired resolution, but before that you should change any in-game settings before changing video resolution because this tool makes the config files read-only
Also do not use the unofficial DirectX 9 renderer as it seems to be broken with transparency effects, it is not included with this repack
