After the events of Ultra Sun/Ultra Moon, the Ultra Recon Squad had a debate on whether people should be allowed to use owned Pokémon for a better means of protection. This causes a civil war, resulting in a group from the Ultra Recon Squad leaving and forming a new group, the Extern-Force.
Plot
You have just received a letter from the Extern-Force! The letter states how it runs a recruitment campaign for the Extern-Force, and you are invited! You will be put through a recruitment campaign in order to become an Extern-Force Member. Once completed, you will be sent on a series of missions to protect Humans, Pokémon, and the World.
While on your adventures, you will encounter new and old people and Pokémon! In this playable demo, you travel to two different dimensions and can obtain two badges. The full game intends to have 10 obtainable badges, exclusive dimensions to travel to on your main journey, entirely optional dimensions, an Extern-Force Elite Four, and important choices that can change the overarching story.
