The game begins with you choosing your starter Pokemon from Prof. Oak, the head of the International Police Kanto branch.
You then start your training to become an international Police officer, you’ll need to complete various tests that will be presented to you by Elite Officers. These Elite Officers are in every city (they aren’t in a specific area, you’ll have to find them) in the Kanto Region and they follow an 8 rule code. Each Elite Officer will test you on one of these values which are: Faith, Bravery, Intelligence, Strength, Clarity, Wisdom, Honor, and Patience.
There are also Gym Leaders that you can challenge, but they are optional.
As you proceed with your training, you’ll soon find out that Team Rocket is on the rise and they’re getting ready for a complex plan to “save” Kanto with the help of major political officials of the region. What is this plan of theirs? It’s up to you to find out and stop them, though it may be already too late.
