– The game runs with a Direct3D 8 wrapper, if you have problems delete d3d8.dll from the gamedir
– Widescreen support upon installation
NOTE: Only the most common screen resolutions are patched, there is this widescreen patcher by AlphaYellow, however it only patches the 1280×960 game resolution meanwhile the game doesn’t show that particular one (at least here)
So in any case the widescreen patcher is included inside gamedir but you should only use it if this installer doesn’t have your resolution and the game actually shows you 1280×960 (test first before patching!)
NOTE #2: The game resolution must be set to 800×600 (regardless of the color bits) so that the custom resolution can work!
