On Windows 7 & above the game runs with dxwrapper
Make sure that you have installed the latest PhysX software (even if you don’t have Nvidia card) at:
https://www.nvidia.com/object/physx_system_software.html

If the game still complains about PhysX at startup, you may need to completely uninstall your Nvidia drivers (even if you don’t have Nvidia card) by using the “Display Driver Uninstaller” (DDU) at https://www.guru3d.com/files-details/display-driver-uninstaller-download.html and also enabling the “Remove PhysX” option in the settings within the app
After the cleanup reboot your machine and reinstall your driver (if you have Nvidia card) or simply install the latest PhysX mentioned above
