– This one was quite a challenge!
First we needed to install it in Windows 98 and after that figure a way to get it to work, since the game uses obscure resolutions.
We also tried hex-editing the game executable to up the internal resolutions, but to no avail
Fortunately DxWnd made it work like a dream
– ‘NoCrack’ repack (Check out our FAQ & Tutorials page for more info!)
– The script that is executed when you click on the game shortcut firsts mounts the game image, then it calls for fart.exe (Fart And Replace Text) to properly modify string values used for the current game directory location, executes DxWnd in taskbar mode and finally it starts the game
If the game tells you to insert the game CD, just click Retry. Assuming that the CD is already mounted by the script and assuming you have Daemon Tools installed (Check out our FAQ & Tutorials page)
– The game is configured through DxWnd for 1280 x 720 resolution and fullscreen mode, if you need to change it to a higher resolution, modify the game profile in DxWnd
– Working great on Windows 10, in-game music too!
Also tested OK on Windows XP

Repack v2 changelog:
– Eliminated the need for use of fart.exe, this could prevent problems with non-administrator accounts
– Reworked the startup script
– Reorganized files

Repack v3 changelog:
– This repack is no longer considered ‘NoCrack’
HOWEVER, when you start the game it will ask you for the CD, simply click on “Retry”
– Updated DxWnd and also capped the framerate to around 30 FPS
